Specialized Intensive Treatment – An Overview
We have successfully treated individuals, couples and families for 24 years. In this experience, we have discovered that the intensive treatment format produces the best long-term results, for the greatest growth and healing.
What is Intensive Treatment?
Intensive treatment is a renowned specialized treatment program utilizing a hand-picked, therapeutic team, based upon your individual needs. Treatment programs include primarily individual, one-on-one therapeutic sessions with a team of caring professionals. These programs can last anywhere for several weeks to several months, depending upon the issues being addressed. We will work with you to determine what duration best fits your needs.
Our intensive programs are uniquely comprehensive, tailored to each person from a whole-person perspective – addressing medical, physical, psychological, emotional, nutritional, fitness and relaxation needs for restoring balance to the body, mind and spirit. We understand that each of these aspects effect the other and we seek to integrate all of them into a comprehensive recovery program.
Over the years, we’ve seen wonderful success achieved toward healing and recovery. But ultimately, it’s not just what we say about our program, it’s what intensive treatment clients say about their time with us. We invite you to read testimonials from others who have found Hope through their Intensive Treatment Programs. Should you request, we can connect you with others who have experienced recovery through The Center for Counseling and Health Resources, Inc., so you can speak to them directly and ask questions.
Who can benefit from Intensive Treatment?
We recognize each person is an individual, with unique issues, experiences, strengths and challenges. Because of our flexible counseling model, we are able to tailor a recovery program to very specific needs. With our whole-person team of specialists, we’re able to create a recovery program to address a broad range of issues. In addition, we have intensive programs designed to address the following issues:
- Eating Disorder Intensive Treatment Program, designed for those seeking recovery from anorexia, bulimia, compulsive overeating, food addiction, emotional eating or recovery from gastric bypass surgery.
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Intensive Treatment Program, designed for those seeking help for recovery from past events.
- Depression Intensive Treatment Program, designed for those seeking help for depression, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, anger issues and thoughts of suicide.
- Relationships Intensive Treatment Program, for couples, spouses who need marriage counseling, parents and children, blended families and siblings who desire to restore frayed or fragile relationships, or build up strong family ties.
- Sexual Addiction Intensive Treatment Program – for those who desire to return to a healthy sexual state through sexual counseling, including healing from the ravages of extra-marital affairs or those addicted to sexual activity, including through the Internet.
- Spiritual Renewal Intensive Treatment Program, for ministers, pastors, lay leaders, church elders and ministry leaders – and those involved in caring professions.
What Our Intensive Treatment is NOT
The Center provides a wide array of options for those seeking healing, recovery and renewed health. However, there are several things we specifically do not have.
Our Intensive Treatment Programs do not include:
- Challenge or ropes courses, or other potentially high-risk activities for those with eating disorders. The trust and self-confidence often associated with these types of activities, we find, can be achieved through other means.
- Large animals, such as horses, as a means of helping in treatment. It is our desire to eliminate unnecessary physical risks and dangers. We believe that therapy including larger animals adds substantial cost to treatment programs and we elect to not have this extra cost for our patients.
- An artificial, rigid eating environment. Instead, we assist individuals in learning how to respond to real-life, non-institutional food settings. Real-life situations produce authentic responses, which are clinically addressed and therapeutically factored into recovery.
Financing is available through our Financing Programs. For more information on our intensive programs in general, go to our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page. You’re also welcome to call us toll-free at 1-888-771-5166 or 1-425-771-5166, or submit your question through our Contact Form. We promise you’ll be treated like the special person that you are, with compassion and respect.
I want you to know:
There is Hope.
There is Help.
There is Healing.
It is not too late!
