When events and relationships in our lives are overwhelming, they pull at the very core of who we are. Often these circumstances take place when we’re young and vulnerable, and the resulting trauma has wide-ranging effects. And sometimes we need help putting these experiences into perspective through trauma treatment – to recover from them, and move beyond them, into the future.
Get the validation your feelings deserve in a safe, supportive environment for trauma counseling surrounded by people who care and know how to help.
To help place traumatic experiences into proper context for growing, healing and moving forward, we designed an Abuse Healing Program under the guidance of The Center for Counseling and Health Resources, Inc., founder, Dr. Gregg Jantz. Leaders in whole-person care, our specialists are renowned professionals in their fields, enabling The Center to offer trauma counseling Intensive Treatment Programs that appropriate for:
- Emotional abuse
- Physical abuse
- Sexual abuse
- Sexual assault/date rape
- Other major life traumas
During the urgency of a traumatic moment or event, the emphasis is often on survival, just making it through until tomorrow. And when tomorrow comes, the temptation is to move on, to put it in your past and to just keep going forward. However, trauma will eventually demand your attention in the form of trauma counseling, stress treatment, physical abuse counseling, sexual abuse treatment or the area most appropriate to your needs.
Though it may be years down the road, unhealed hurts eventually must be addressed and attended to. Because of the pain involved, it takes a safe place with a team of compassionate, caring professionals to guide you through the process of trauma counseling. The Center does just that through Integrative Medicine, Whole-Person Care that not only addresses your emotional needs, but your medical, physical, psychological, nutritional, fitness and relaxation needs as well.
